To move a first article fast—and get a clean pass—send a complete drawing set (rev marked), BOM with approved alternates, wire list/pinout, connector/cable callouts, and the intended IPC class (2 or 3). Include acceptance criteria and a simple test plan (e.g., continuity, hipot, pull-force, visual), plus any compliance notes (RoHS/REACH/CMRT/TSCA/PFAS), labeling/packaging needs, and traceability expectations. Add photos or a legacy sample if you have one, mating parts for fit checks, target quantities (FA and production), and your required date and ship-to.
I’ll review for DFM gaps up front, confirm exceptions in writing, and route the job to a contract manufacturer with proven quick-turn first-article capacity so materials, tooling, and inspection are queued early. You’ll get a no-fluff quote, agreed test/inspection steps, and a single point of contact for updates. Under-promise, over-deliver: if anything is uncertain, we flag it immediately and propose the fastest path to resolution.
